Product Name: EVA Hot Melt Adhesive (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Hot Melt Adhesive)
Base Resin: Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, the most widely used general-purpose hot melt adhesive. It is a 100% solid, solvent-free, water-free thermoplastic adhesive. At room temperature it is solid; upon heating to molten state, it becomes flowable liquid. After coating and cooling, it rapidly solidifies to form bonding strength, no chemical curing reaction involved.
Typical Composition
EVA base resin, tackifier resin, paraffin wax, antioxidant and other functional additives.
> Vinyl acetate (VA) content is a key index: normally 18%–30%. Higher VA content brings better flexibility and adhesion, while lower VA gives higher heat resistance.
Typical Physical Properties
- Appearance: Milky white / translucent / light yellow solid, available in pellets, glue sticks, blocks
- Melting temperature range: 130–180℃
- Set time: 1–3 seconds (fast setting for high-speed lines)
- Density: ~0.92 g/cm³
- VOC: Near zero, environmental friendly
