1. Excellent activator&secondary accelerator 
D is the most commonly used promoter in guanidine compounds, mainly used as an active agent for thiazole compounds (M, DM) and sulfonamide compounds (CZ, NS), which can significantly enhance the activity of the main promoter, improve the vulcanization rate and crosslinking density. When used in combination with DM and TMTD, it can be used for continuous vulcanization. 
2. Medium speed vulcanization, long scorch time/Medium Cure Rate, Long Scorch Time 
When used alone, D has a moderate vulcanization speed, long burning time, good processing safety, and a wide operating window. Excellent performance in thick walled products and products that require longer in mold flow time. 
3. Good Storage Stability 
Compared with Tyumen (TT/TS) and Dithiocarbamate (PZ, EZ), D has better storage stability in rubber compounds and finished products, and is less prone to decomposition and failure. 
4. Multi functional applications 
-Used as a plasticizer and plasticizer in chloroprene rubber (CR)** 
-Used as auxiliary gel agent/foam stabilizer in latex (silicon fluoride foam method) 
-Outstanding performance in hard rubber and thick walled products 
5. Increase tensile stress/High Modular Development 
When used in combination with thiazole based main accelerators, D can effectively improve the tensile stress and hardness of vulcanized rubber, making it suitable for products that require high modulus. 
Notes/Precautions 
-Discolorability: D can cause slight discoloration and should not be used on white or light colored products (unless used in small amounts as an active agent). 
-Aging resistance: When used alone, the heat and oxygen aging resistance of vulcanized rubber is poor, and anti-aging agents must be used in combination. 
-Not applicable for rubber types: There is no significant vulcanization promoting effect on butyl rubber (IIR) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). 
-Bitter taste: The product has a bitter taste and is not suitable for use in food contact products. 
-Dosage: 0.2-1.0 phr as the second promoter; As the main promoter, 1.0-2.0 phr.
