Appearance classification
1. Iron free aluminum sulfate: white flakes/particles/powder, extremely low iron content, Al ₂ O ∝ ≥ 15.6%, used for papermaking and high-end water purification
2. Ordinary industrial aluminum sulfate: light green/light yellow flakes, containing a small amount of iron, lower cost, mostly used for sewage treatment
3. Liquid aluminum sulfate: a light yellow green transparent liquid with approximately 7.5% Al ₂ O3, which can be added directly without dissolving
Packaging: Solid 25kg/50kg, lined with PE woven bag; Bulk liquids are stored in plastic drums or tank trucks.
Ventajas principales
1. Low purchase price and high cost-effectiveness of basic water treatment
Traditional and well-established inorganic aluminum salt coagulants have readily available raw materials and a purchase price per ton lower than PAC. Conventional water plants with stable water quality can reduce the cost of purchasing chemicals.
2. The alum flowers are coarse and stable, with good settling performance
Hydrolysis generates aluminum hydroxide colloids, which adsorb suspended solids and colloids in water, forming large flocs and achieving stable turbidity and decolorization effects; The preferred precipitant for rosin sizing in the paper industry.

Not only can it be used for water purification, but also for papermaking, printing and dyeing, leather, and concrete additives, with strong versatility.

Main applications
1. Water treatment
Removing turbidity, suspended solids, chromaticity, and some heavy metals from drinking water, industrial water, municipal sewage, printing and dyeing/mining wastewater; Often paired with PAM polyacrylamide to enhance precipitation.
>Attention: Aluminum sulfate is suitable for an optimal pH of 6.5-7.5, and the water quality that is slightly acidic/alkaline needs to be adjusted by adding alkali. The effect of low-temperature water is significantly worse (compared to PAC).
2. Paper industry (core traditional use)
Rosin gum settling agent enhances the water and water resistance of paper, improves pulp retention and filtration, and increases paper strength.
3. Other industries
Printing and dyeing mordants, leather tanning agents, foam fire extinguishing agent raw materials, concrete additives, oil decolorization, wood preservation.
