K12 Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Product Introduction 
Full name: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, abbreviated as K12, also known as SLS/SDS, is an anionic surfactant

Industry note: In combination with LAS and AEO-9, K12 focuses on high foaming; LAS focuses on decontamination; AEO-9 focuses on emulsifying and hard water resistance, and the three are often compounded for use in detergents. 
1、 Physical and chemical properties 
1. Common forms (3 industrial specifications) 
-Needle shaped K12: white needle shaped crystals, less dust, most commonly used in daily chemical factories, active substance ≥ 92% 
-Powdered K12: White fine powder, dissolves quickly, but has high dust, suitable for dry powder formula 
-Liquid K12 (K12-30): colorless to slightly yellow slurry, active ingredient 30%, easy to feed without dust 
2. HLB value: 40, strong hydrophilic surfactant 
3. pH (1% aqueous solution): 5.5~7.0; Easy to dissolve in water, resistant to hard water and weak alkali, and can dissolve in water when exposed to strong acids to form cinnamyl alcohol
