Product Introduction of Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonic Acid LAS (LABSA) 
Full name: Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid, abbreviated as LAS, commonly referred to as LABSA or dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid in the industry

Note: LAS (linear alkylbenzenesulfonic acid) is the acid substance, which is neutralized to obtain linear alkylbenzenesulfonic acid sodium salt (also commonly referred to as LAS salt). LAS mentioned in foreign trade and factory quotations mostly refers to LABSA sulfonic acid stock solution. 
1、 Basic physicochemical properties 
1. Appearance (25 ℃): brown viscous oily liquid, organic weak acid, corrosive, strong irritation to skin and eyes Tiktok 
2. Density: about 1.05 g/mL (20 ℃), high viscosity; Dissolved in water, it will release a large amount of heat when diluted. Do not directly pour water into this product, slowly add acid to the water 
3. Stability: Acid resistant, alkali resistant, oxidant resistant, good compatibility, can be compounded with the vast majority of non-ionic and anionic surfactants 
4. Biodegradation: Straight chain structure, biodegradation rate>90%, better environmental friendliness than branched alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (ABS) 
2、 Product Features 
Strong cleaning power, excellent wetting, emulsifying, dispersing, and foaming properties; 
Low raw material costs, mature industrialization, and large supply make it the most mainstream anionic surfactant matrix in the detergent industry; 
Good tolerance to hard water, and the washing effect is further improved after compounding with additives; 
It can be neutralized into sodium/ammonium/ethanolamine salts for use, or used in small amounts directly in acidic cleaning agent formulations. 
3、 Main application areas 
1. Daily chemical washing (maximum use) 
Neutralization preparation of sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate, used for laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, soap, kitchen and bathroom cleaning agents; Can be directly used as an acidic toilet cleaner. 
2. Textile industry 
Fabric refining agents, dyeing auxiliaries, degreasing agents, and leveling agents. 
3. Industrial cleaning 
Leather degreaser, electroplating pretreatment degreaser, papermaking de ink agent. 
4. Other industries 
Pesticide emulsifying and dispersing agents, amino baking paint curing catalysts, oilfield additives, etc
