Full name: Cocamide DEA, Chinese: Coconut diethanolamide, commonly known as Ninol, a non-ionic surfactant

Formula note: LAS, AEO-9, K12 combined with 6501 is a classic detergent combination; LAS cleaning, K12 foaming, AEO-9 emulsion resistant to hard water, 6501 responsible for thickening and foam stabilization, synergistically reducing irritation 
1、 Physical and chemical properties 
1. Appearance (25 ℃): Light yellow to amber transparent viscous liquid 
2. Solubility: Can be dispersed in water; Dissolved in alcohols; Alkaline stability, easily hydrolyzed in strong acid environment** 
3. pH (10g/L ethanol aqueous solution): 9.0-10.5, weakly alkaline 
4. Classification (3 mainstream industrial models) 
-1:1 type (high activity): amide ≥ 78%, low free amine, suitable for shampoo, hand sanitizer, high-end daily chemical products 
-1:1.5 type (most commonly used on the market): amide ≥ 70%, preferred for dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent 
-1:2 type: amide ≥ 62%, high free diethanolamine, mostly used for textile and industrial cleaning 
5. Characteristics: resistant to hard water; Has emulsification, wetting, anti redeposition, and slight rust prevention ability; Good biodegradability 
2、 Core features of the product 
Powerful foam stabilizing+foaming: with anionic surfactant such as LAS, K12 and AES, the foam is durable and dense, not easy to defoamer 
Excellent thickening: In anionic systems, adding a small amount of salt can significantly increase viscosity. The core thickening component of liquid detergents 
Synergistic effect: Combined with LAS to enhance cleaning power and reduce the irritation of anionic surface activity on the skin 
Emulsification and dispersion: It emulsifies animal and vegetable oils well, has the ability to suspend dirt, and prevents dirt from adhering to the surface of objects again 
Widely compatible: both anionic and nonionic surfactants can be compounded 
Attention: Contains free diethanolamine; Long term storage of acidic systems will result in hydrolysis failure; Avoid coexisting with nitrite under acidic conditions to prevent the formation of nitrosamines 
3、 Main application areas 
1. Daily chemical washing (maximum use) 
Dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, shampoo, shower gel; Recommended addition amount is 0.5-3%; Responsible for thickening, stabilizing foam, and reducing irritation. 
2. Textile printing and dyeing 
Fabric refining agent, wool detergent, textile degreaser, anti-static additive. 
3. Industrial cleaning 
Metal water-based cleaning agent, oil stain remover, leather degreaser, with mild rust prevention effect. 
4. Other 
Coatings, ink emulsion stabilizers, shoe polish additives.
