-Appearance: White/slightly yellow fine powder 
-Physical and chemical properties: insoluble in water, soluble in acids and strong bases; Odorless, non-toxic, stable at room temperature; High temperature sublimation, non flammable 
-Mainstream process classification 
1. Indirect method zinc oxide (99.7%): preferred for tires and high-end rubber, with high purity, low impurities, and good activity. It is standard for radial tires 
2. Direct method zinc oxide (95%~98%): Low cost, used for ordinary rubber, ceramics, coatings, and phosphating 
3. Activated zinc oxide: With a larger specific surface area and less usage, it is suitable for light colored rubber and latex 
2、 The core role of the rubber industry 
1. Sulfurization activator: accelerates the sulfur vulcanization reaction, improves cross-linking efficiency, reduces vulcanization time, and is an essential additive for sulfur vulcanization systems 
2. Thermal conductivity and reinforcement: Improve the thermal conductivity, tensile strength, and wear resistance of rubber, and enhance the heat aging resistance of tires 
3. Acid absorbing agent: neutralizes the acidic substances generated during the vulcanization process, protects the rubber skeleton, and improves the adhesion performance of the steel wire 
4. Coloring+Sunscreen: White pigment with UV shielding effect, enhances rubber weather resistance 
Paired with insoluble sulfur: Zinc oxide+stearic acid+insoluble sulfur, standard vulcanization system for radial tires. 
3、 Main purpose 
-Rubber tires: all steel/semi steel radial tires, conveyor belts, rubber hoses, rubber rollers, oil seals, shock absorbers (indirect method mainly 99.7%) 
-Coatings and paints: white pigments, anti rust pigments, UV absorbers 
-Ceramics: Reduce sintering temperature and increase glaze gloss 
-Other: Phosphating solution, plastics, cosmetics, pharmaceutical ointments, feed additives, electronic varistors 
4、 Packaging and Storage 
-Packaging: 25kg lined with PE film woven bag/kraft paper bag 
-Storage: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, moisture-proof and sealed; Avoid moisture and clumping; Stay away from strong acids 
-Shelf life: 12 months under normal sealing conditions, moisture will reduce activity
