High performance anionic surfactants are obtained by sulfidation, neutralization, and hydrolysis of alpha olefins, and are a mixture of sodium vinyl sulfonate and sodium hydroxyalkylsulfonate.
1、 Basic Information
-Mainstream carbon chain: C14-C16 (most commonly used in daily chemical washing), also available in C12-C14 and C16-C18 grades
-Structural formula: \ (\ ce {R-CH=CH - (CH2})_ {n}-SO_{3}Na }\(Vinyl sulfonate)\ (\ce{R-CH(OH)-(CH_{2})_ {n}-SO_{3}Na }\(Hydroxyalkyl sulfonate)
-Common product forms
1. AOS35: Light yellow transparent liquid, active ingredient 34-36% (mainstream liquid formula)
2. AOS38: Light yellow liquid, active substance 37-39%
3. AOS92: White/slightly yellow powder, active ingredient ≥ 90%, suitable for laundry detergent and solid soap
-PH (1% solution): 7.0-9.5

1. Extremely strong resistance to hard water, excellent calcium soap dispersion: foam and decontamination attenuation are very small in high calcium and magnesium water, far better than LAS;
2. The foam is rich and stable, and the foam is delicate and easy to rinse; Strong foaming ability, suitable for high foaming formulas;
3. Wide pH range and good hydrolysis stability: Compared with AES, its biggest advantage is that AES is acidic and easily hydrolyzed, while AOS sulfonic acid groups have better acid resistance and stability;
4. Excellent biodegradability, with a degradation rate higher than LAS and lower irritability than K12, belonging to relatively mild anionic surface activity;
5. Good compatibility, can be well compounded with LAS, AES, amphoteric surfactants, nonionic surfactants, and enzyme preparations, very suitable for phosphate free detergents;
6. AOS powder is heat-resistant and suitable for laundry powder spraying process.

3. Personal care: shower gel, shampoo, hand sanitizer, facial cleansing products (formulated with a combination of both sexes to further reduce irritation).
